SGL Carpentry & Design was founded in 2021 by Sam LaBonte who grew up a Western MA native. Sam’s large family never missed an opportunity to roll up their sleeves and help each other get the job done - even building their own childhood home from the ground up. From an early age, Sam loved to test out different carpentry & woodworking techniques. He became most passionate about creating quality pieces that people can enjoy in their home. This includes smaller pieces like decorative wall art, coaster, and cutting boards to larger pieces like coffee tables, headboards, and dining room tables. Most of Sam’s projects are from locally sourced wood and each is custom and unique in its own design and material making it a true work of art.
